• Oral hormonal contraceptives: Tirzepatide can affect the absorption of oral hormonal contraceptives, particularly when treatment is started or the dose is increased. Discuss contraception with your doctor.

• Store Mounjaro 15 mg KwikPen in a refrigerator at 2°C to 8°C.

• Do not freeze Mounjaro 15 mg KwikPen. Do not use it if it has been frozen.

• Keep the pen in its original carton to protect it from light.

• If the pen is stored at room temperature, do not expose it to temperatures above 30°C. Discard the pen if it has not been used within 30 days after being removed from refrigeration.

• Follow the product-specific storage and disposal instructions provided with the pen.

Use Mounjaro 15 mg KwikPen exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Treatment with Tirzepatide is usually started at a lower dose and increased gradually based on how you respond to treatment and tolerate the medicine.

Do not change the dose or stop treatment without medical advice.

Common side effects:

• Nausea

• Diarrhoea

• Vomiting

• Constipation

• Abdominal pain

• Indigestion

• Decreased appetite

These effects are more common at higher doses.

Serious side effects:

• Severe allergic reactions

• Pancreatitis

• Severe gastrointestinal problems

• Gallbladder problems

• Low blood sugar, particularly when used with insulin or sulfonylureas

• Worsening diabetic eye disease

• Kidney-function deterioration due to dehydration

• If you use oral hormonal contraceptives, discuss contraception with your doctor when starting Tirzepatide and after dose increases.

• Tell your doctor before surgery, general anaesthesia or deep sedation because Mounjaro 15 mg KwikPen can delay stomach emptying and may increase the risk of aspiration.
