Introduction to Mydacla 60mg Tablet
Mydacla 60mg tablet contains the active ingredient Daclatasvir. It is an antiviral drug that belongs to a group of medicines called hepatitis C virus (HCV) NS5A inhibitors. It is used along with another medication to treat a certain type of chronic hepatitis C (an ongoing viral infection that damages the liver). It works by stopping the virus that causes hepatitis C from spreading inside the body.
Do not take mydacla 60mg tablet if you are allergic to Daclatasvir or any of the other ingredients. This medicine must always be used in combination with other medicines against hepatitis C infection. Inform your doctor if you have an irregular heartbeat or liver injury before initiating the treatment. Report to your doctor if you have shortness of breath, lightheadedness, palpitations, and fainting while taking this medicine.
Mydacla 60mg tablet is not recommended for patients below 18 years of age. Do not take this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Use effective contraception during the treatment. The common side effects of this treatment are headache, tiredness, anemia, and nausea.

This medicine works by stopping the hepatitis C virus from multiplying and infecting new cells. This lowers the amount of hepatitis C virus in your body and removes the virus from your blood over a period of time.

Inform your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, nutritional and vitamin supplements, and herbal products. Certain medications interact with mydacla 60mg tablet and reduce its effectiveness by causing undesirable side effects.

- Protect the medicine from light and excessive moisture.
- Keep the medicine out of reach of children and pets
- If you forgot to take the tablet, take your next dose at the scheduled time. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
How to consume Mydacla 60mg Tablet
It is an orally available prescription drug. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of mydacla 60mg tablet based on the disease condition and other factors such as body weight and age. Always take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor. Take the tablet at the same time, with or without food. Do not break, chew, crush, or break the tablet. Swallow the whole tablet with a glass of water.

Breast Feeding
Breastfeeding is not recommended in patients taking mydacla 60mg tablet because the medicine passes into the breast milk in small amounts and may harm your baby. Do not breastfeed during the treatment.
Alcohol
It is unknown whether it is safe to drink alcohol while taking Daclatasvir. Consult your doctor for more information
Liver
Mydacla 60mg tablet is safe when administered in patients with liver diseases. Dose adjustments are not necessary. However, inform your physician if you have any liver diseases before initiating the therapy.
Lungs
It is unknown whether mydacla 60mg tablet is safe to be administered in patients with lung diseases. Inform your physician if you have any lung diseases before initiating the therapy.
Driving
It is unsafe to drive after mydacla 60mg tablet tablets because it may cause dizziness and drowsiness.
Pregnancy
Do not take mydacla 60mg tablet if you are pregnant because this may harm the unborn baby. Inform your physician if you are pregnant, suspecting, or planning to get pregnant during the treatment. Use effective contraception during and for 5 weeks after your last dose.

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all drugs cause side effects, not everyone gets them.

Word of Advice
Take all of the medicine and complete the course of therapy even if you feel better after the first few doses. Do not take extra doses or medicine to make up for a missed dose. Avoid pregnancy during combination treatment with daclatasvir, sofosbuvir, and ribavirin for 6 months of stopping treatment. Tell your doctor right away if you or your partner becomes pregnant. Your doctor will do lab tests at regular visits to check on the effects of this medicine. Keep all appointments.
