Introduction
Orlinz 600mg Injection contains Linezolid, an antibiotic from the oxazolidinone group. It is used to treat serious bacterial infections like pneumonia, skin infections (such as cellulitis or infected wounds), and infections caused by resistant bacteria like MRSA and VRE. In some cases, it may also be used for more severe conditions like meningitis or heart valve infections (endocarditis), when other antibiotics don’t work.
This medicine should only be taken under medical supervision. It may not be suitable for people with allergies to Linezolid or those taking certain antidepressants, as it could increase the risk of serotonin syndrome, a serious reaction with symptoms like confusion, sweating, or muscle stiffness. It may also cause low blood cell counts, so your doctor might suggest regular blood tests during treatment. If you notice unusual symptoms like rashes, bruising, tiredness, or trouble breathing, get medical help immediately.
Orlinz 600mg Injection should be used with extra care in children or older adults, especially if they have liver or kidney problems. Always follow your doctor’s instructions, and don’t skip or stop doses without their guidance.

How it works
