Otski Injection provides essential micronutrients for patients receiving total parenteral nutrition or is suffering from trace elements deficiency. This Injection consists of trace elements, namely Chromium (4mcg), copper (0.4mg), manganese (0.1mg), selenium (20mg) and zinc (1mg).
Total parenteral nutrition refers to supply of essential nutrition to patients unable to consume sufficient food orally. Critical conditions such as burns, trauma, septic shock and organ failure causes inflammation, oxidative stress, immune system dysfunction and require vitamins and trace elements.
Uses of Otski Injection:
- Supplement to intravenous solutions given for total parenteral nutrition.
- Treatment of trace elements deficiency
How Otski Injection works:
The trace elements present in this product enhance wound healing, maintain normal RBC, WBC formation; maintains normal glucose metabolism and nerve function, and protect the cell components from oxidative damage.
Otski Injection maintains the plasma values of Chromium, copper, selenium, zinc and manganese, thus preventing the depletion of these trace elements and its deficiency.
Interaction with other drugs:
Inform your doctor about any medications you are taking or have taken before the treatment.

How to use Otski Injection:
Use as directed by the physician. For single use only. Discard unused contents. Do not use if the solution is not clear or is leaking.

Breastfeeding:
Consult your physician for advice before breastfeeding.
Liver:
This Injection is not intended for use in severe liver dysfunction. Inform your physician before starting this treatment if you have liver diseases.
Kidney:
Inform your physician before starting this treatment if you have kidney diseases.
Allergies:
Inform your physician if you experience allergic reactions to trace elements.
Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all drugs cause side effects, not everyone gets them.
Otski Injection is generally safe to use and has no significant side effects. However, inform your physician if you experience any unusual side effects.
