Introduction to Ovidac 2000iu Injection
Ovidac 2000IU Injection is an antineoplastic drug belonging to the class of luteinizing hormone analogs, containing the active ingredient chorionic gonadotrophin. This drug is mainly used in fertility treatments to stimulate ovulation in women through in vitro fertilization (IVF). This medicine can be used to stimulate the production of testosterone in males with hypogonadism (the body doesn’t produce enough testosterone). It is also used to treat undescended testicles (movement of testes from a higher position to a lower one).
The common side effects that are likely to occur with this medicine are pain, redness, swelling at the site of injection, headache, tiredness, depression, and fluid retention. Inform your healthcare provider if these side effects concern you or persist for longer than usual. This medicine may increase the risk of developing ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. If you get lower abdominal pain, gain any weight rapidly, and have difficulty in breathing, consult with your doctor.
Ovidac 2000IU Injection is not recommended for pregnant women, because it can harm the developing fetus. If you have a medical history of blood clots, heart disease, liver disease, or kidney disease this injection should be used with caution by your healthcare professionals. In case you're allergic to this injection, report to your doctor immediately.
