Pentrelief 30mg Injection contains the active ingredient pentazocine lactate. It is used to treat moderately severe pain in burns, trauma, fracture, cancer, etc. It is also administered before you are given an anesthetic (produces an unconscious state) for surgery. This medicine should not be used if you have bronchial asthma, blockage in the bowel, significant respiratory depression (slow and ineffective breathing), or if you are allergic to pentazocine.
Talk to your physician if you have heart problems, liver disorders, kidney disorders, seizures, brain conditions, alcohol addiction, or allergic conditions before the administration of Pentrelief 30mg Injection. Report to your physician if you experience severe constipation after being treated with this medicine.
Uses of Pentrelief 30mg Injection:
- Treats moderate to severe pain
- Adjunct for surgical anesthesia (unconscious sedation)
How Pentrelief 30mg Injection works:
Pentrelief 30mg Injection interacts with opioid receptors (mu and kappa), blocks the pain transmitting signals, and relieves the pain.

Breastfeeding:
Pentrelief 30mg Injection passes into the breast milk. Inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding before taking this medicine.
Liver:
You need to tell your doctor if you have any liver disorders before taking Pentrelief 30mg Injection.
Kidney:
You need to tell your doctor if you have any kidney disorders before taking Pentrelief 30mg Injection.
Driving:
After having Pentrelief 30mg Injection, you may feel sleepy for some time. Do not drive or handle any tools or machines unless your doctor says you are ready to engage in such activities.
Others:
