Introduction
Pregaba SR 75mg Tablet is an anti-epileptic and anticonvulsant drug containing Pregabalin as its active ingredient, belonging to the class of GABA analogue medications. Pregaba SR 75mg Tablet for neuropathic pain and Pregaba SR 75mg Tablet for nerve pain are among its most common applications, along with treatment of epilepsy, generalised anxiety disorder (GAD), fibromyalgia, and nerve damage caused by diabetes or spinal cord injury in adults. Pregaba m sr 75 mg and pregaba sr 75 mg are not advised for use in children under 18 years, and dosage adjustment is needed for patients with kidney problems. Do not take Pregaba SR 75mg Tablet if you are allergic to Pregabalin or any of its ingredients. Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have serious skin rashes such as Stevens-Johnson syndrome or toxic epidermal necrolysis, dizziness, blurred or loss of vision, thoughts of self-harm, or suicidal behaviour.
Also notify your doctor if you have gastrointestinal issues, convulsions, reduced brain function, breathing difficulties, or a history of serious medical conditions, including heart, liver, or kidney disease. Liver, heart, and kidney patients should use Pregaba SR 75mg Tablet with caution and inform their doctor of all underlying medical conditions. Do not stop taking this medicine unless advised by your doctor, and do not double the dose to make up for a missed one.
Diabetic patients may experience weight gain and may need adjustment of their diabetic medications during treatment. Do not breastfeed while taking Pregaba SR 75mg Tablet unless your doctor advises. Pregaba SR 75mg Tablet inhibits the high-voltage calcium channels in the central nervous system. It modulates the release of neurotransmitters such as norepinephrine and glutamate, reducing abnormal brain electrical activity and blockage of pain signal transmission.
