Refra tablet uses in 

• Treatment of orthostatic hypotension (low BP when a person stands up from a seated or lying)

The therapeutic effect of Refra 2.5mg Tablet is to increase blood pressure in individuals with low blood pressure or orthostatic hypotension. Acting as an alpha-1 adrenergic agonist and constricting blood vessels, helps to raise peripheral vascular resistance and improve blood flow to vital organs, particularly the brain. This medication enhances blood pressure and offers a therapeutic benefit by improving quality of life, functional capacity, and cognitive function in individuals with orthostatic hypotension.

Inform your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products. Certain medications may interact with Refra 2.5mg Tablet and reduce effectiveness by causing undesirable side effects. 

• Refra 2.5mg Tablet should be stored at room temperature between 68°F to 77°F (20°C to 25°C).
• Keep in the original package.
• Keep away from light, moisture, and heat.
• Keep away from children and pets.
• Avoid taking double doses for missed doses.

Refra 2.5mg Tablet is taken orally as a Tablet 10'S and should be taken with or without food. The Tablet 10'Ss should be swallowed whole with water and not crushed, chewed, or opened. The dosage and duration of treatment will depend on the individual's condition and response to the medication and should be determined by a healthcare provider.

Refra 2.5mg Tablet can cause side effects like all medications, although not everyone who takes it will experience them. Refra side effects include 

Serious:

• Chest pain or tightness
• Rapid or irregular heartbeat
• Severe dizziness or lightheadedness
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Severe headache
• Blurred vision or other vision changes
• Fainting or loss of consciousness
• Signs of an allergic reaction (e.g., hives, swelling, difficulty breathing)

Common: 

• Scalp tingling or piloerection (goosebumps)
• Itching or rash
• Abdominal discomfort or pain
• Nausea
• Headache
• High blood pressure (especially when lying down)

• Use Refra 2.5mg Tablet with caution in patients with heart problems, urinary retention, kidney disease, or a history of pheochromocytoma or peripheral vascular disease.

• Avoid use in individuals with uncontrolled hypertension or severe heart conditions such as unstable angina, congestive heart failure, or recent heart attack.

• Do not discontinue the medication abruptly; follow your doctor’s guidance when stopping treatment.

• Pregnancy and breastfeeding should be avoided during treatment unless approved by a doctor.

• Monitor pediatric and elderly patients closely, and report any allergic or hypersensitivity reactions immediately.
