Thromnix Ointment is a topical drug containing the active ingredient Heparin Sodium and Benzyl Nicotinate. The combination of Heparin Sodium and Benzyl Nicotinate in topical ointments is commonly used for the relief of pain, inflammation, and improvement of local blood circulation in conditions such as superficial thrombophlebitis (inflammation or swelling of a vein due to a blood clot), hematoma (collection of blood outside the blood vessels, usually caused by an injury or trauma that damages blood vessels), or other localized inflammatory conditions.
Thromnix Ointment is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergic reactions to this drug or any other ingredients in the product should avoid its use. If you experience signs of an allergic reaction, such as rash, itching, swelling, or difficulty breathing, seek immediate medical attention. This drug may cause skin irritation in some individuals. If you develop excessive redness, itching, burning, or other signs of skin irritation, discontinue use and consult a doctor for more advice.
Thromnix Ointment should not be applied to open wounds, infected wounds, or skin ulcers. It happens when the medication is intended for intact skin and may not be suitable for compromised or infected areas.
