Tofatas 5mg Tablet 14's is a medicine used to treat autoimmune conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and ulcerative colitis. It helps reduce pain, swelling, and joint stiffness by targeting the body’s immune response. This medication is often prescribed when other treatments haven't worked well enough or are not suitable. 

Do not take Tofatas 5mg Tablet 14's if you are allergic to tofacitinib or any other ingredients of this medicine. Inform your healthcare professional if you have any symptoms of an infection, such as fever, sweating, chills, muscle aches, cough, shortness of breath, weight loss, skin sores, difficulty or pain when swallowing, diarrhoea, or stomach pain. 

Before initiating the treatment, inform your physician if you have kidney, heart, lung, or liver problems, a history of tuberculosis, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol, and also if you are a current or past smoker.

Tofatas 5mg Tablet 14'ss is used in the treatment of the following:

• Rheumatoid arthritis

• Psoriatic arthritis

• Ankylosing spondylitis

• Ulcerative colitis

• Polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis

• Juvenile psoriatic arthritis

Tofatas 5mg Tablet 14's belongs to a class of medicines called Janus Kinase (JAK) inhibitors. It works by blocking certain enzymes (JAKs) that are involved in the inflammation process. By interfering with these pathways, it helps control an overactive immune system and reduce inflammation in the body.

Inform your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, vaccinations, nutritional and vitamin supplements, and herbal products. Certain medications may interact with the effects of tofacitinib and reduce its effectiveness by causing undesirable side effects.

• Store tofacitinb.NPP at room temperature (20°C to 25°C)

• Keep the tablet away from the reach of children and pets.

Take Tofatas 5mg Tablet 14's exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It is usually taken by mouth with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the tablet.

Like all medicines, Tofatas 5mg Tablet 14's may cause side effects in some people. Common ones include:

• Headache

• Diarrhea

• High blood pressure

• Increased risk of infections (e.g., cold, flu)

• Elevated cholesterol levels
