Introduction to Ves Atra Capsule
Ves Atra Capsule is an antineoplastic drug with an active ingredient called Tretinoin. It belongs to the medication class known as retinoids, similar to vitamin A. It is used to treat a kind of blood issue called acute promyelocytic leukemia which slow down the growth of diseased blood cells.
Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to Tretinoin or any of the other substances of this medicine if you take other medicine like vitamin A, tetracyclines, or retinoids (Isotretinoin, Acitretin, Tazarotene). Avoid taking peanuts and soya, as this medicine contains soya bean oil. Talk to your doctor if you have other health conditions or ever had or have mental health problems like depression, mood change, or aggressive behavior because taking this medicine may affect your mood.
Before taking this medicine, inform your healthcare professional if you are planning to get pregnant or pregnant or breastfeeding. Should not get pregnant even after stopping the medicine for one month. Use effective contraception. Notify your doctor if you are allergic or intolerant to some sugar, as this medicine contains sorbitol. There is limited information available on the use of this medicine in children. Contact your doctor for more information. Report to your doctor immediately if you experience any side effects such as fever, chest or back pain, difficulty breathing, or fever.

Therapeutic Effects of Ves Atra Capsule
Tretinoin binds to the fusion protein and breaks down the protein, making the immature blood cells differentiate into mature white blood cells (WBC). This helps restore normal blood cell production and reduces the number of abnormal cells present in blood and bone marrow.
Interaction of Ves Atra Capsule with other drugs
Inform your doctor about any prescribed medications, over-the-counter medicines, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products you take or have taken before the treatment. Certain medications such as Low dose progestogens (birth pill), Isotretinoin, Acitretin, Tazarotene, and other medications may interact with Ves Atra Capsule and can cause undesirable side effects.

- Keep out of sight and reach of pets and children
- Store protected from light at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
- Ves Atra Capsule treatment can take three months or longer. Do not stop until your doctor advises.
How to consume Ves Atra Capsule
Take Ves Atra Capsule as advised by your physician. Do not crush, chew, or open the medicine. Your physician will decide the correct dosage and duration based on age, body weight, and disease condition. Only stop taking Ves Atra Capsule if your doctor advises you to stop.

Breast Feeding
Taking Ves Atra Capsule while breastfeeding may be unsafe because it may affect the child. Do not breastfeed for at least four months after the treatment. Therefore, talk with your doctor to get more information.
Alcohol
It is unknown whether consuming alcohol while taking a Ves Atra Capsule capsule is safe. Please speak with your physician.
Liver
Only limited information is available about the usage in liver condition patients. So it is unknown whether Ves Atra Capsule is safe for patients with liver problems. Inform your physician if you have any lung disease before starting the treatment. Contact your doctor if you experience any liver-related symptoms.
Lungs

Even though you didn't notice a change in your mood and, behavior, it is advised you inform your friends and family that this medicine could affect your mood and behavior. Discuss with your doctor about effective contraception methods to avoid getting pregnant. Women should take pregnancy tests every four months while under treatment. Notify your doctor immediately if you become preganat while under treatment; your doctor will provide you with the right treatment. Do not consume other medications unless your doctor prescribes them.
