Amoxycillin and Clarithromycin are antibiotics that inhibit bacterial growth. Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that reduces stomach acid production. In combination, it works to treat peptic ulcers and gastroesophageal reflux disease.

Amoxicillin + Clarithromycin + Esomeprazole is used to treat peptic ulcer disease due to bacterial infections. That is, it is indicated for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), reduction of the risk of NSAID-associated gastric ulcer, eradication of H. pylori to reduce the risk of duodenal ulcer recurrence, and management of pathological hypersecretory conditions such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

Take the Amoxicillin + Clarithromycin + Esomeprazole as your physician advises. Your physician will decide the correct dosage and duration based on age, body weight, and disease condition. Only stop taking the tablet if your doctor advises you to stop.

The most common side effects of Amoxicillin + Clarithromycin + Esomeprazole are headache, diarrhea, nausea, flatulence, abdominal pain, constipation, and dry mouth. Serious side effects while taking Amoxicillin + Clarithromycin + Esomeprazole are rash, face swelling, throat tightness, and difficulty breathing.

This medicine should not be consumed if you are allergic to Amoxicillin + Clarithromycin + Esomeprazole or any of its ingredients in the medication. Before taking the tablet, inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver disease. Long-term use of this medicine may result in low magnesium levels (hypomagnesemia) and cyanocobalamin deficiency in the body.  Avoid consuming this medicine with other medicine, especially with St. John’s Wort or Rifampin.

Notify your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or think you may be pregnant or breastfeeding. The dosage adjustment is needed for patients with kidney and liver problems. Notify your doctor if you have any skin disease, as this medicine may cause cutaneous and systemic lupus erythematosus or worsen during the treatment. Individuals with severe liver problems may have impaired liver function, which can affect the metabolism and elimination of the medicine.

Liver and kidney patients should take Amoxicillin + Clarithromycin + Esomeprazole cautiously and inform their doctor about all the underlying medical conditions. Do not stop the medicine until your doctor advises. Do not double-dose the medicine to make up for a forgotten dose.

Do not breastfeed while taking Amoxicillin + Clarithromycin + Esomeprazole unless your doctor advises. Notify your doctor if you experience any serious side effects.
