Introduction

Lemtrada 12mg Infusion 1.2ml is an immunosuppressive and anti-inflammatory medicine, classified as a monoclonal antibody, containing the active ingredient Alemtuzumab. It is primarily used to treat relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS) in adults and, in some cases, to manage certain types of leukaemia (such as chronic lymphocytic leukaemia, CLL) or for immune system suppression before transplant procedures.

While Lemtrada 12mg Infusion 1.2ml does not cure multiple sclerosis or leukaemia, it helps to slow the progression of the disease, reduce relapse frequency, and manage immune-related damage. This medication works by targeting and destroying immune cells that are thought to attack healthy tissues, thereby rebalancing the immune response.

This medicine is administered under medical supervision as an intravenous infusion. Due to its strong immunosuppressive effects, it is typically given in treatment cycles, and patients are closely monitored before, during, and after each injection.
