• Levodopa (Moderate to Severe) - Branched chain amino acids (BCAAs) like L-leucine, L-isoleucine, and L-valine may compete with levodopa for absorption and transport across the blood-brain barrier, potentially reducing its effectiveness in Parkinson's disease treatment. Your doctor may need to adjust timing or dosages.

• Diabetes Medications (Moderate) - Medicines such as insulin, metformin, or glipizide may interact with BCAAs, potentially affecting blood sugar levels. Regular monitoring of blood glucose is recommended, and dose adjustments may be necessary.
