NEFROPLUS TABLET

Introduction:

Nefroplus Tablet comprises Iron pyrophosphate 100mg, Folic acid 10mg, Methylcobalamin 500mcg, biotin 300mcg, calcium pantothenate 6mg, Vitamin B1 2mg, Vitamin B2 3mg, Vitamin B3 25mg and Vitamin B6 10mg. It is a supplement intended for use in patients undergoing kidney dialysis.

Chronic kidney disease refers to the irreversible deterioration of kidney function, which progresses over the years. Patients having chronic kidney disease (CKD) are often at a high risk of bleeding and phosphate accumulation in the blood. Anaemia occurs in CKD due to impairment in platelet function.

Uses of Nefroplus Tablet:

• Treatment of dietary deficiency of vitamins, minerals and trace elements
• Management of iron deficiency anaemia in kidney dialysis patients

How Nefroplus Tablet works:

Iron pyrophosphate increases the level of haemoglobin in the blood.

Vitamin B1 (Thiamine) promotes the release of energy from protein, fat and carbohydrate metabolism and enhances normal appetite and digestion.

Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin) plays a significant part in energy metabolism and promotes the metabolism of fats, proteins and carbohydrates.

Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) enhances protein metabolism and helps maintain immune and nervous systems.

Vitamin B12 (Methylcobalamin) regulates the blood cells.

Folic acid regulates the growth of cells and protein synthesis.

Biotin, the pantothenic acid content of this Tablet is required for normal growth and development of the skin and hair. Biotin also enhances the nervous system.

How to use Nefroplus Tablet:

Use as a dietary supplement. This Tablet is not intended for medicinal use. Consult your dietician for appropriate dosage.

Safety Advice:

Pregnancy:

Inform your dietician before starting this treatment if you are pregnant or think you might be pregnant. 

Breastfeeding: 

Consult your dietician for advice before starting this treatment if you are breastfeeding.

Liver:

Inform your dietician before starting this treatment if you have liver disease. 

Kidney:

Inform your dietician before starting this treatment if you have kidney diseases. 

Allergies: 

Inform your dietician if you experience allergic reactions to vitamins, iron pyrophosphate or its ingredients.

Others:

• Inform your dietician before starting this treatment if you have been diagnosed with pernicious anaemia.

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all drugs cause side effects, not everyone gets them.

Nefroplus Tablet is generally safe to consume and is not associated with significant side effects. However, if you experience any unfamiliar side effects, consult your dietician for advice.
