Introduction to Primacal AT Capsule

Primacal AT Capsule has the active ingredient Calcium citrate+ calcitriol+ zinc. It belongs to the nutritional supplements group and is used to treat and prevent nutritional deficiencies like vitamin D and calcium deficiencies. Calcium helps maintain bone density, and calcitriol increases the intestinal absorption of calcium. 

Zinc enhances the immune system, and a combination of these ingredients is used to treat osteoporosis, rickets and other disorders caused by calcium and vitamin deficiency. Primacal AT Capsule plays an important role in the development of bone mass, providing relief from muscle and bone pain and enhancing metabolism.

The common side effects that are likely to be associated with Primacal AT Capsule are stomach upset, upper abdominal pain, diarrhoea, constipation, nausea and vomiting. Most of the side effects resolve on their own, but if the symptoms last for a longer time, consult the doctor. 

Primacal AT Capsule should be taken as per the advice of the doctor because dose alteration depends upon the age and medical condition of the patient. If a patient forgets to take a dose, it is advised to take it as soon as possible and not overdose on this medication, as it can cause an increase in calcium levels in the blood.

Report to a physician immediately if you have severe allergic reactions to Primacal AT Capsule ingredients. Inform the doctor about hypercalciuria, hypercalcaemia and any other kidney-related disorders because it is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disorders as it makes the condition worse. Inform the doctor if the patient is pregnant or breastfeeding mother before starting this medication because dosage alteration is required for some patients.
