    Men's Health Week theme is "Healthy Habits,” This aims to inspire men and boys to cultivate beneficial habits by identifying small changes that positively impact their health and well-being. Men's Health Week was introduced in 1994 in the United States and has since expanded globally. It serves as a platform to tackle health disparities in men and promote better education and awareness regarding men's health.

    Cardiovascular disease, including heart attacks and stroke, remains a significant cause of mortality in men. Risk factors for cardiovascular disease encompass high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol levels, smoking, and a sedentary lifestyle.

    Cancer poses a risk to men, with various types, such as prostate, colon, and lung cancer, being prominent. Regular screenings and early detection play a crucial role in improving the chances of successful treatment.


    Mental health issues like anxiety, depression, and substance abuse can affect men, who may be less likely to seek help. According to the Mental Health Foundation reports that the rate of suicide is thrice higher among men than women.
