• Abirosted 250mg Tablet is used in the treatment of prostate cancer.

The drug works by inhibiting the production of testosterone in the body. This can slow the growth of prostate cancer.

Inform your doctor about any prescribed medications, over-the-counter medicines, nutritional and vitamin supplements, and herbal products you take or have taken before the treatment. Certain medications may interact with Abirosted 250mg Tablet  and cause undesirable side effects.

• This medicine does not require any particular storage condition.
• Keep out of sight and reach of children.

The medicine should always be consumed as per the direction of your physician or pharmacist. The drug should be taken by mouth. It should not be taken with food. Swallow the tablets whole with water without breaking them. The drug should be taken with prednisone or prednisolone every day while taking Abirosted 250mg Tablet. The amount of prednisone or prednisolone will be as per the doctor’s advice. The discontinuation of prednisone or prednisolone will also be as per the doctor’s advice. If more than one Abirosted 250mg Tablet is consumed, the patient should inform the doctor.

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medical treatment. Although all medicines can cause side effects, everyone will not get them.

• Muscle twitches
• Palpitations
• Lung irritation
• Failure of liver to function
• Adrenal gland problems
• Abnormal heart rhythm
• Heart attack
• Changes in the electrocardiogram
• Serious allergic reactions with difficulty in swallowing or breathing
• Swollen face, lips, tongue, or throat
• Itchy rash
• Bone loss

• Fluid in legs or feet
• Low blood potassium
• Liver function test increases
• High blood pressure
• Urinary tract infection
• Diarrhea
• High-fat levels in the blood
• Chest pain
• Irregular heartbeat
• Heart failure
• Rapid heart rate
• Severe infections
• Bone fracture
• Indigestion
• Blood in urine
• Rash

Inform the doctor if the patient has any liver problems, blood pressure, heart disorders, diabetes and medication taken for different medical conditions before taking Abirosted 250mg Tablet . The medicine should be taken as prescribed by the doctor. This medication should be taken orally in an empty stomach. It should not be taken with food and swallow the tablet as a whole with water without breaking them. Food must be eaten at least 2 hours before taking the medication and the patient is advised to eat after 1hr after consuming the medication. Blood pressure, potassium levels, liver function tests should be monitored regularly while taking this medication.
