Alfusin T 2.5mg Tablet uses are:

• Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) associated with lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS)

• Erectile dysfunction (ED)

The combination medication alfusin T 2.5mg works by relaxing muscles in the prostate and bladder, making it easier to urinate for men with an enlarged prostate (BPH). Additionally, tadalafil enhances blood flow to the penis, helping men achieve and maintain erections (ED) during sexual stimulation.

1. Clarithromycin (Severe)
   Use with caution as it may elevate Alfuzosin concentration in the blood. Watch for lightheadedness, fatigue, or low blood pressure, and seek medical advice if symptoms persist.

2. Ketoconazole (Severe)
   This antifungal can raise Alfuzosin levels, leading to dizziness or fainting. Avoid using both together unless prescribed by your doctor.

3. Itraconazole (Severe)
   Itraconazole may enhance Alfuzosin’s effect, increasing the risk of low blood pressure. Report any dizziness or fainting to your healthcare provider.

4. Ritonavir (Severe)
   Ritonavir can significantly elevate Alfuzosin levels, causing low blood pressure or fainting. Use together only under strict medical supervision.

5. Sildenafil / Tadalafil (Moderate)
   Combining these medicines with Alfusin T 2.5mg may cause a sudden drop in blood pressure. Avoid taking them together unless advised by your doctor.

• Keep alfusin T 2.5mg away from the sight and reach of children.

• Store at 20°C to 25°C.

• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date.

Take these tablets exactly as prescribed by your physician. Swallow the tablets whole with water. Your physician will tell you the correct Alfusin T 2.5mg Tablet dosage and frequency based on your disease severity, body weight, and other factors. Do not crush or chew the tablets. Take the first dose before bedtime to have better results. Do not double the dose to compensate for a missed one. If you accidentally take too much alfusin T 2.5mg, seek medical attention immediately.

• Regular prostate cancer screenings are important, as this condition often coexists with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Inform your eye specialist about this medication if you plan to undergo cataract surgery.
