Introduction to Ambrican 5mg Tablet
Ambrican 5mg Tablet contains an active component as Ambrisentan. This medication is used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). PAH is a condition characterised by high blood pressure in the arteries that carry blood from the heart to the lungs. It helps to relax and widen the blood vessels in the lungs, reducing the strain on the heart and improving blood flow.
It is typically prescribed as a long-term treatment for PAH to improve exercise capacity and delay disease progression. By targeting the underlying mechanisms of PAH, this medication can slow down the progression of the disease. This can result in a longer period of better health and quality of life for individuals with PAH.
Ambrican 5mg can be used as a monotherapy (used alone) or in combination with other PAH medications, depending on the severity of the condition and the patient's response to treatment.
