Therefore, it is typically avoided in individuals with active infections.It should be avoided in patients with severe bone marrow suppression or blood disorders. In cases of severe kidney dysfunction,its  use should be carefully considered and also needs close monitoring. It is generally not recommended for individuals with active malignancies or a history of certain cancers due to its potential to increase the risk of malignancy. Azoran 75mg Tablet can be used in children and older adults for certain autoimmune conditions and organ transplantation, but its use requires careful monitoring due to age-related factors and potential risks.

Azoran 75mg Tablet is used in the following:

Azoran 75mg Tablet involves being converted into an active metabolite called 6-mercaptopurine within the body. 6-mercaptopurine is a purine analog, and it interferes with the synthesis of DNA and RNA in rapidly dividing cells, including immune cells. This disruption of nucleic acid synthesis suppresses the activity of the immune system by inhibiting the proliferation of immune cells. As a result, this medication reduces the production of antibodies and immune cells responsible for attacking the body's tissues in autoimmune diseases. The immunosuppressive effect helps to alleviate inflammation and control the symptoms of autoimmune conditions while also preventing the body from rejecting transplanted organs.

Inform the doctor about your medicines, including prescription, over-the-counter, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products. Certain medications may interact with Azoran 75mg Tablet, reducing effectiveness by causing undesirable side effects.

Azoran 50mg Tablet causes some side effects like all medications, although not everyone will experience them. 

Serious:

• Severe allergic reactions
• Severe liver problems
• Pancreatitis
• Severe bone marrow suppression
• Interstitial Pneumonitis
• Serious Infections
• Development of malignancies (including lymphoma)

Common:

• Nausea and vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Loss of appetite
• Rash or skin reactions
• Headache
• Hair loss
• Increased susceptibility to infections
• Bone marrow suppression (anemia, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia)
