• Used in the treatment of advanced prostate cancer that has not responded to other therapies.

Bdenza T 80 Tablet works by blocking the androgen receptors on prostate cancer cells. These receptors normally allow the hormone dihydrotestosterone (DHT) to stimulate cancer growth. By preventing DHT from binding, the drug disrupts cancer cell signalling, slows disease progression, and reduces tumour proliferation.

1. Aliskiren (Life threatening)
   Using telmisartan with aliskiren can greatly increase the risk of kidney failure, dangerously low blood pressure, and high potassium levels, especially in diabetic patients. This combination should be avoided.

2. Potassium Supplements or Potassium Sparing Diuretics (Severe)
   Medicines like spironolactone, amiloride, or potassium supplements can raise potassium levels excessively when taken with telmisartan. Regular potassium monitoring is essential.

3. ACE Inhibitors such as Enalapril or Ramipril (Severe)
   Dual blockade of the renin angiotensin system can increase the risk of kidney impairment and hypotension. Combined use is generally not recommended.

4. Nonsteroidal Anti Inflammatory Drugs (Moderate)
   Painkillers like ibuprofen or diclofenac may reduce the blood pressure lowering effect of telmisartan and increase the risk of kidney damage, especially in dehydrated patients.

5. Lithium (Moderate)
   Telmisartan can increase lithium levels in the blood, raising the risk of toxicity. Blood lithium levels should be closely monitored.

• Do not remove capsules from the original packaging until use.

Take Bdenza T 80 Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The Bdenza T 80 dosage is taken once daily, which may be taken with or without food. Swallow the capsules whole with water. Do not crush or open them. If you miss a dose, take it at the next scheduled time. Do not double up to compensate for a missed dose.

Like most cancer treatments, Bdenza T 80 Tablet 40mg may cause some side effects. While not everyone experiences them, it’s important to be aware:

• Seizures

• Allergic reactions

• Posterior Reversible Encephalopathy Syndrome (PRES)

• Falls or bone fractures

• Heart conditions or palpitations

Seek immediate medical help if you experience any signs of severe side effects.

• Take the medicine at the same time daily to maintain consistent drug levels in your body.

• Avoid grapefruit juice, which may dangerously increase enzalutamide concentration in the bloodstream.

• Use skin moisturisers regularly, as Bdenza T 80 Tablet 40mg may cause dryness and flaking.

• Stay hydrated and eat a balanced diet to manage fatigue and improve treatment tolerance.

• Inform all healthcare providers about your treatment if you’re scheduled for surgery or dental work.

• Do not stop the medicine abruptly without your oncologist’s advice—even if you feel better.

• Contraception is crucial: Men must use barrier protection throughout treatment and for 3 months afterwards.
