Biomab EGFR 200mg Injection is used in the treatment of the following:

• Head and neck cancer
• Certain types of brain cancer
• Esophageal cancer

The therapeutic effect of Biomab EGFR 200mg Injection is primarily focused on its ability to target and bind to the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) found on many cancer cells. Doing so can block the growth and spread of cancer cells, ultimately leading to improved patient outcomes. One of the advantages is its targeted therapy approach, which allows it to target cancer cells while minimising damage to healthy cells specifically. This can help to reduce side effects and improve the overall quality of life for cancer patients undergoing treatment.

Inform your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products. Certain medications may interact with Biomab EGFR 200mg Injection and reduce effectiveness by causing undesirable side effects.

• Biomab EGFR 200mg Injection should be stored in a refrigerator at a temperature between 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F).
• It does not need to be frozen, as this can damage its efficacy.
• Once a vial is opened, it should be used immediately.
• If inj Biomab is not used immediately, it can be stored at room temperature for 4 hours. After 4 hours, any remaining drug should be discarded.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Serious side effects of Biomab EGFR 200mg Injection are:

• Allergic reactions
• Difficulty breathing
• Swelling of the face or throat or hives
• Infusion reactions (fever, chills, or low blood pressure)
• Chest pain
• Irregular heartbeat
• Lung problems (cough or shortness of breath)
• Liver problems (jaundice or abdominal pain)

Common side effects of Biomab EGFR 200mg Injection are:

• Skin rash
• Diarrhea
• Nausea and vomiting
• Fatigue
• Headache
• Fever
• Pain at the injection site
