Introduction to Cilacar Nb 2.5mg Tablet
Cilacar NB 2.5mg tablet belongs to the group of medications called antihypertensives. It contains a combination of Cilnidipine and Nebivolol, which is primarily used for controls blood pressure when a single medication is ineffective. Hypertension (high blood pressure) is a medical condition in which blood exerts a force on the artery walls (blood vessels), resulting in heart disease, irregular heartbeat, and other problems.
The common symptoms likely associated with Cilacar NB 2.5mg tablet are headache, constipation, cold extremities, nausea, sleepiness, tiredness, palpitations, ankle swelling, flushing (warm cheeks, necks, ears), edema (swelling), dizziness, increased frequency of urination, lethargy, an unusual feeling of itching or tingling and shortness of breath. Inform your healthcare provider if these side effects disturb or persist in you.
Inform your physician if you are allergic to Cilnidipine, Nebivolol, and its ingredients. Before treatment with Cilacar NB 2.5mg tablet, let your physician know if you have low blood pressure (hypotension), diabetes, cardiogenic shock (sudden stopping of blood flow to the heart), hyperthyroidism (overactivity of the thyroid gland), Raynaud's disease (poor circulation in arms or legs), phaeochromocytoma and chronic bronchitis. Hence, your doctor may regularly monitor your blood pressure, electrolytes, and potassium level in your blood at regular intervals. It should not be given to children less than 12 years of age.Â

Nebivolol works by reducing heart rate and relaxing blood vessels to enhance blood circulation and reduce blood pressure. Together, they treat people with hypertension who cannot be managed with a single medication.
