Cilacar TC 12.5 mg tablet contains the active constituents of Telmisartan, cilnidipine, and chlorthalidone, which belong to antihypertensive drugs. It helps control high blood pressure, and it is used in the treatment of hypertension when a single medication is ineffective. Cilacar TC 12.5mg helps relax the blood vessels by making it easier for the heart to pump blood all over the body, and it decreases the risk of heart attack and stroke. The dosage of this medication will depend upon the condition and how individuals respond to the medication. This medicine acts by lowering blood pressure and reducing heart attack and stroke, so don't stop this medication without the proper advice of a doctor.
The common side effects of Cilacar TC 12.5 mg tablet are dizziness, swelling in the ankles, headaches, feeling sleepy, tiredness, and stomach upset. Since it makes a person sleepy, don't drive or handle heavy machinery because you may lack concentration. You can also change your lifestyle, such as eating a low-fat and salt diet and quitting smoking, which helps the medication work effectively.
Do not consume Cilacar TC 12.5 mg tablet if you are allergic to Telmisartan, Azelnidipine, and its other ingredients. It causes frequent urination, so it's better to have this tablet 4 hrs before bed. The dosage of Cilacar TC 12.5 mg tablet will depend upon the condition and how individuals respond to the medication. Avoid breaking or chewing the tablet. Instead, swallow it whole with a glass of water.
