Cuchel 250mg Capsule contains the active constituent trientine hydrochloride. It is used in the treatment of Wilson’s disease. Wilson’s disease is a genetic condition in which the body cannot transport or remove copper in a normal way. Copper from food and drink buildup to excessive levels can lead to nervous system problems and liver damage. Your symptoms may worsen initially after treatment has started; if it happens, tell your doctor. Tell your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems.
Cuchel 250mg Capsule may reduce the iron content in your blood. Your doctor may prescribe iron supplements. Your doctor will regularly check the urine and blood to ensure that you receive the right dose. Swallow the capsules in an empty stomach at least one hour before meals or two hours after meals. It is important to tell your doctor if you are breastfeeding or pregnant before taking this medicine. This medicine should not be taken together with medicine containing zinc.

How Cuchel 250mg Capsule works:
It gets attached to copper in the body and lowers the levels by facilitating the copper removal in urine. It also gets attached to copper in the gut and reduces the absorption into the body.

How to use Cuchel 250mg Capsule:
Take Cuchel 250mg Capsule in the dose and duration prescribed by your physician. Swallow the capsules in an empty stomach at least one hour before meals or two hours after meals. If you are prescribed to take iron supplements, take them at two hours after taking medicine.
