Dacilon 0.5mg Injection is FDA-approved for the treatment of the following cancers:

• Wilms' tumour (kidney cancer in children)
• Rhabdomyosarcoma (soft tissue cancer)
• Ewing’s sarcoma (bone cancer)
• Gestational trophoblastic neoplasia (cancer linked to pregnancy)
• Testicular cancer (when combined with other chemotherapy drugs)
• Certain types of solid tumours in children

Dactinomycin works by interfering with the DNA of cancer cells. It binds to their genetic material and prevents them from multiplying. When cancer cells can’t grow or divide, they eventually die.
