Doceco 20mg Injection belongs to the class of anticancer medications known as taxoids. It contains Docetaxel, which is used to treat breast, prostate, non-small cell lung, stomach, and head and neck cancer. Cancer is a disease in which cells multiply in an uncontrolled and abnormal manner. This chemotherapy medication is used alone or in combination with other anticancer medicines.   

The common side effects that are likely to be associated with Doceco 20mg Injection are dizziness, headache, fever, infections, loss of appetite, sleeping trouble, joint or muscle pain, eye problems, weight loss, tiredness, dry mouth, reduced blood pressure, hair loss, etc. Inform your doctor if any of these side effects disturb or persist in you. 

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to Doceco 20mg Injection and its ingredients. Before taking this medication, you must inform your physician if you have kidney and heart problems, vision problems, epilepsy, or alcohol addiction. It is contraindicated in patients with very few white blood cells or severe liver diseases. 

Ensure to inform your physician about all the medicines, including supplements and herbal medicines, that you are taking before starting Doceco 20mg Injection treatment. Use effective birth control during the treatment and at least six months after the last dose.

The Doceco 20mg Injection is used in the treatment of the following:

• Non-small cell lung cancer

• Breast cancer

• Stomach or gastric cancer

• Prostate cancer

• Head and neck cancer

Doceco 20mg Injection works by targeting the tiny tube-like structures inside cancer cells called microtubules. These microtubules are important for helping cancer cells divide and grow. By blocking them, Doceco 20mg Injection slows down the growth of cancer cells and eventually leads to their destruction.

Inform your doctor about any prescribed medications, over-the-counter medications, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products that you are taking or have taken before the treatment. Certain medications tend to interact with Doceco 20mg Injection and can cause potential side effects.

• Do not store above 25°C.

It will be given by infusion into one of your veins (intravenous use). It is administered by a healthcare professional. The dose of this Injection depends on your weight and general condition. Do not self-administer.

• Male patients receiving this Injection treatment should refrain from fathering children and use reliable contraception for six months following the treatment. 

• Inform your healthcare provider if you experience the symptoms of intestinal problems, including stomach pain, tenderness, or diarrhea.

• Your doctor may suggest regular blood tests to monitor your blood cells and liver function during treatment with this medicine.
