The Docedel 20mg Injection is used in the treatment of the following:

• Non-small cell lung cancer
• Breast cancer
• Stomach or gastric cancer
• Prostate cancer
• Head and neck cancer

Docedel 20mg Injection works by targeting the tiny tube-like structures inside cancer cells called microtubules. These microtubules are important for helping cancer cells divide and grow. By blocking them, Docedel 20mg Injection slows down the growth of cancer cells and eventually leads to their destruction.

Inform your doctor about any prescribed medications, over-the-counter medications, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products that you are taking or have taken before the treatment. Certain medications tend to interact with Docedel 20mg Injection and can cause potential side effects.

• Keep Docedel 20mg Injection out of sight and reach of children.
• Do not store above 25°C.

It will be given by infusion into one of your veins (intravenous use). It is administered by a healthcare professional. The dose of this Injection depends on your weight and general condition. Do not self-administer.

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medicines cause side effects, not everyone gets them. 

Serious side effects of Docedel 20mg Injection are:

• Severe allergic reactions
• Severe fluid retention
• Severe skin problems
• Swelling of the small intestine and colon

Common side effects of Docedel 20mg Injection are:

• Headache, dizziness
• Fever, infections
• Low blood cell count
• Loss of appetite
• Trouble sleeping
• Joint or muscle pain
• Alteration in the sense of taste
• Eye problems, bleeding from the nose
• Nausea, vomiting
• Diarrhea, constipation
• Abdominal pain
• Hair loss, change in color of your nails
• Change or absence of menstrual period
• Weight loss
• Tiredness
• Dry mouth
• High blood sugar
• Decreased blood pressure, rapid heartbeat

It is advised to use effective birth control for men and women taking Docedel 20mg Injection. Women of reproductive potential must use effective contraception during and after six months of therapy. Male patients receiving this Injection treatment should refrain from fathering children and use reliable contraception for six months following the treatment. Inform your healthcare provider if you experience the symptoms of intestinal problems, including stomach pain, tenderness, or diarrhea. Your doctor may suggest regular blood tests to monitor your blood cells and liver function during treatment with this medicine.
