Introduction to Eiref Capsule
Eiref capsule contains two active ingredients called Pantoprazole sodium and Itopride hydrochloride. It belongs to the medication class proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) and prokinetic. It is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease. Additionally, it is also used to treat nocturnal acid breakthrough, diabetic gastroparesis, functional dyspepsia, and gastritis. Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is the backflow of stomach acid into the esophagus, causing discomfort. Â
Do not consume Eiref capsule if you are allergic to Pantoprazole sodium, Itopride hydrochloride, or any of its ingredients in the medication. Before taking medicine, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or think you may be pregnant or are breastfeeding. Before starting the treatment, inform your doctor if you have any history of gastrointestinal bleeding, mechanical perforation/obstruction, or movement disorder. Long-term medication use may lead to osteoporosis and hypomagnesemia (low magnesium levels). It is crucial to discuss your medical history and any concerns you may have with your healthcare provider to ensure the safe and appropriate use of the medication.Â
Before taking Pantoprazole, notify your doctor if you have severe liver problems, a history of liver issues, reduced vitamin B12 levels, are taking HIV protease inhibitors, have osteoporosis, or have risk factors for fractures. Regular monitoring of liver enzymes and magnesium levels may be necessary. The common side effects of Eiref capsule are vomiting, bloating, postprandial fullness (an unpleasant sensation in the stomach), epigastric pain, and regurgitation. Before starting the treatment, notify your doctor if you have any pre-existing medical conditions.
