Introduction
Erdanat 4 Tablet is an anticancer medication containing the active constituent erdafitinib. It is used to treat a type of cancer known as locally advanced or metastatic urothelial carcinoma, which mainly affects the bladder and urinary tract. This medicine is generally prescribed for patients whose tumour has specific FGFR3 or FGFR2 genetic alterations, confirmed through an approved biomarker test, and who have already received platinum-based chemotherapy.
Erdanat 4 Tablet is a targeted therapy that helps slow down or stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking certain proteins involved in tumour development. It is taken orally and requires close monitoring, especially for eye-related side effects and changes in blood phosphate levels.
Patients should inform their doctor if they experience vision changes, eye pain, or dry eyes. Regular eye examinations and blood tests are important during treatment. Individuals with a history of eye disorders or kidney problems should consult their healthcare provider before starting this Erdanat medicine. Erdanat 4 Tablet prices are the same across all the locations. You can buy Erdanat 4 Tablet online in MrMed.
Uses

How Erdanat 4 Tablet Works
Erdanat 4 Tablet works by inhibiting fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR) 1–4, which are proteins involved in cell growth and survival. In some cancers, these receptors are overactive due to genetic mutations, leading to uncontrolled tumour growth. By blocking these receptors, this medicine slows down the growth of cancer cells and may help shrink tumours.
