Introduction to Exena S 25mg/5mg Tablet

Exena S 25mg/5mg Tablet contains two active ingredients called Mirabegron and Solifenacin. It belongs to the family of Beta 3-adrenoceptor agonists and muscarinic receptor antagonists. This medicine reduces the activity and symptoms associated with an overactive bladder, such as urgency incontinence (inability to control bladder emptying), sudden urination urges, and increased urinary frequency. This medicine is not advised for use in children under 18 years old.

Exena S 25mg/5mg Tablet should not be taken if you have allergies to Mirabegron or Solifenacin or if you have high uncontrolled blood pressure. Before starting the treatment, inform your doctor if you have trouble emptying your bladder (urinary retention) or if you are taking specific medications for HIV, fungal or bacterial infections, or anticholinergic medicine. Avoid taking this medicine if you have a severe stomach or bowel condition such as a toxic megacolon, muscle disease (myasthenia gravis), or glaucoma with progressive vision loss. It is recommended not to consume this medicine if you are undergoing kidney dialysis or if you have severe liver disease.

Don't consume Exena S 25mg/5mg Tablet if you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant or breastfeeding. Before starting the treatment, notify your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems. Your doctor may adjust your dose in such conditions. Also, inform your doctor if you have any heart conditions, such as abnormal ECG (QT prolongation) or taking medications that may cause it.
