Exhep injection uses are 

• Deep vein thrombosis
• Prophylaxis of venous thrombo-embolism
• Unstable angina
• ST-segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI)
• Prevention of blood clots during surgeries

Exhep 40mg Injection binds to the antithrombin to form a complex. Antithrombin is a protein that blocks the formation of abnormal blood clots. This drug mainly prevents the activation of factor Xa, eventually preventing clot formation. It is commonly used for the prevention and treatment of conditions associated with increased risk of blood clots.

Taking Exhep 40mg Injection (enoxaparin) with any of the following medicines can change the effect of either of them and may increase the risk of serious side effects.

Warfarin or other oral anticoagulants (Oral Route) Life-threatening
Do not use together unless strictly advised.
Concomitant use may greatly increase the risk of severe bleeding.

Antiplatelet medicines such as Aspirin or Clopidogrel (Oral Route) Life-threatening
Avoid using together unless prescribed.
These medicines may further increase the risk of bleeding.

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as Ibuprofen or Diclofenac (Oral Route) Life-threatening
Do not take together.
Concomitant use may increase the risk of stomach bleeding and other bleeding complications.

Thrombolytic medicines such as Streptokinase or Alteplase (Injection Route) Life-threatening
Avoid concomitant use.
Taking these medicines together may lead to uncontrolled and serious bleeding.

Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors such as Sertraline or Fluoxetine (Oral Route) Moderate
Use with caution.
These medicines may increase the risk of bleeding when used with enoxaparin.

Corticosteroids such as Prednisolone (Oral Route) Moderate
Use carefully.
Long term use may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding.

Potassium-sparing diuretics such as Spironolactone (Oral Route) Moderate
Use under medical supervision.
Concomitant use may increase potassium levels in the blood.

• Store Exhep 40mg Injection below 25 °C.
• Do not freeze
• Keep it out of reach from children.
• Protect them from light and moisture.

Exhep 40mg Injection will be administered to you by a healthcare professional in a hospital setting. It is usually administered as an intravenous injection into a vein. Your doctor will decide the dose, route of administration, and frequency based on your disease condition and other factors.

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all drugs cause side effects, not everyone gets them. Exhep 40 side effects are 

Serious side effects of Exhep 40mg Injection are:

• Severe allergic reactions (swelling of lips, tongue, or throat, difficulty breathing, or swallowing)
• Too much bleeding (weakness, being pale, dizziness with headache, or unexplained swelling)
• Blockage of blood vessels (pain, redness, or swelling in the legs, or coughing up blood)
• Rash of dark red spots under the skin

Common side effects of Exhep 40mg Injection are:

• Bleeding
• Bruising more easily
• Low blood cell counts
• Headache
• Itchy red skin
• Edema
• Pain at the injection site
• Pink patches on the skin

• Rest and Diet: Get adequate rest during treatment and maintain a well-balanced diet.

• Injection Site Care: Apply a cool compress at the injection site to reduce pain and irritation.

• Do Not Stop Suddenly: Do not stop Exhep 40mg Injection abruptly without consulting your doctor, as this may increase the risk of blood clots.

• Avoid Certain Medications: Aspirin and other NSAIDs may increase bleeding risk when taken with Exhep 40mg Injection; consult your doctor before use.

• Avoid High-Risk Activities: Stay away from activities that may cause injury or bleeding, such as contact sports.

• Vitamin K Intake: Consume foods high in Vitamin K (leafy greens, asparagus, Brussels sprouts, soybean oil) in moderation, as they can affect blood clotting.

• Regular Monitoring: Monitor your platelet count regularly to ensure safe and effective treatment
