Gardasil 9 Injection 0.5ml consists of the active constituent Human Papilloma Virus vaccine. HPV types 16 and 18 are responsible for approximately 70-80% of cervical and anal cancer cases, and HPV types 6 and 11 are responsible for almost 90 % of genital wart cases. 

The HPV virus is a common sexually transmitted infection that can lead to various health problems, including genital warts and various types of cancer, including cervical, anal, penile, and throat cancer. Gardasil 9 Injection does not cure the disease; it protects against it. It does not affect people who are already infected with the virus. This vaccine is only intended to prevent these diseases. The vaccine is most effective when given before a person becomes sexually active, as it is designed to protect against HPV strains commonly transmitted through sexual contact. Gardasil 9 is generally considered safe and effective and has been shown to reduce the risk of HPV-related health problems significantly. There are no known interactions with other vaccines.

Gardasil 9 Injection 0.5ml is used in the treatment of the following:

• Cervical cancer
• Anal cancer
• Genital warts
• Oropharyngeal cancer

• Store in a refrigerator between 2°C and 8°C (36°F and 46°F).
• It should not be frozen.
• Keep it in its original packaging until it is ready to be used.
• Keep out of the reach of children and pets.

The Gardasil 9 Injection 0.5ml is typically administered as a healthcare provider's injection into the upper arm or thigh muscle. The specific administration technique may vary slightly depending on the vaccine product and the age of the person receiving the vaccine.

Like all medications, Gardasil 9 Injection 0.5ml causes some side effects, although not everyone will experience them. 

Serious:

• Allergic reactions
• Hives
• Syncope (fainting)
• Blood clotting disorders

Common:

• Pain, redness, or swelling at the injection site
• Headache
• Fever
• Nausea
