Graftide M 500mg Tablet works by inhibiting the enzyme inosine monophosphate dehydrogenase (IMPDH) and reducing the production of guanosine nucleotides. MMF specifically affects the proliferation of activated T and B lymphocytes. These lymphocytes are key players in the immune response that can lead to the rejection of a transplanted organ

1. Other Immunosuppressants (e.g., cyclosporine, tacrolimus)
   May increase the risk of infections and enhance immunosuppressive effects.

2. Antacids and Proton Pump Inhibitors (e.g., magnesium hydroxide, omeprazole)
   Can reduce the absorption of the medication, lowering its effectiveness.

3. Antibiotics (e.g., ciprofloxacin, amoxicillin-clavulanate)
   May alter drug levels and affect how the medication works.

4. Antiviral Drugs (e.g., acyclovir, ganciclovir)
   Can increase the risk of side effects, especially affecting kidney function.

5. Cholestyramine
   May decrease the absorption of the drug, reducing its therapeutic effect.

6. Live Vaccines (e.g., measles, mumps, rubella vaccines)
   Should be avoided as the immune response may be reduced and risk of infection increased.

7. Hormonal Contraceptives
   Effectiveness may be reduced; additional contraceptive methods may be required.

8. Herbal Supplements (e.g., St. John’s Wort)
   May decrease drug effectiveness by altering metabolism.

• Store Graftide M 500mg Tablet at room temperature between (15°C to 30°C)

• Keep the medicine away from the reach of children and pets.

It is an orally available prescription drug. Your physician will decide the dose and duration of the treatment based on your disease condition, severity, and other factors. Always take Graftide M 500mg Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. Do not open, crush, break, or chew the medicine.
