Hamsyl 3750IU Injection is indicated to treat the following conditions:

• Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia
• Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma

Hamsyl 3750IU Injection is an enzyme that breaks down the amino acid asparagine in the body. Cancer cells require asparagine to grow and divide and cannot produce their asparagine. By breaking down asparagine in the body, this medication can effectively "starve" cancer cells of this essential nutrient, slowing their growth and promoting cancer cell death. However, normal cells in the body can produce their asparagine and are not as affected by the enzyme as cancer cells. Therefore, this medicine selectively targets cancer cells while sparing healthy cells in the body to some extent.

• Do not freeze.
• Protected from light.
• Keep it in its original packaging until it is ready to be used.

Hamsyl 3750IU Injection is typically administered by a healthcare provider as an intravenous (IV) injection in a clinical setting. The dosage and frequency of infusions will vary depending on the patient's medical condition, age, weight, and other factors. You should not take a double dose to make up for the second dose.

• Hemorrhage (bleeding)
• Tumor Lysis Syndrome (a potentially life-threatening condition due to breakdown of cancer cells)
• Acute pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas)
• Hepatotoxicity (liver damage or failure)
• Neurotoxicity (damage to the nervous system)
• Hypersensitivity reactions (allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis)
• Renal failure (kidney damage or failure) 

Common: 

• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Fatigue
• Loss of appetite
• Headache
• Fever or chills
• Muscle or joint pain
• Rash or itching
• Swelling or redness at the injection site

If you are receiving treatment with Hamsyl 3750IU Injection, report any side effects or concerns promptly. If patients see any sign of jaundice (yellow skin and eyes, abdominal pain, vomiting) after taking this medication, they should contact a doctor immediately because it can cause pancreas inflammation.
