IdofNib 100 Capsule consists of the active ingredient Nintedanib. It belongs to the medication class known as tyrosine kinase inhibitors. It treats idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, chronic fibrosing interstitial lung disease, and systemic sclerosis-associated interstitial lung disease. Talk to your physician if you are on blood thinning medications or have recently undergone surgery. Use effective contraception while receiving this capsule and continue to use it for three months, even after receiving the final dose. Consult your doctor for effective contraception because the birth control pills may not work properly on women.  

Before starting the treatment, inform your doctor if you have any medical conditions, such as liver and heart problems. Before starting the treatment, your doctor may conduct a liver function test at regular intervals of the first three months. Notify your doctor if you have a history of bleeding or blood clots (arterial thromboembolic). IdofNib 100 Capsule may cause liver function impairment (hepatic impairment) and embryo-fetal toxicity. 

Consult your doctor if you have any of these underlying conditions. The most common side effects of IdofNib 100 Capsule are nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, fever, skin ulcer, gastrointestinal perforation, altered liver function values, decreased appetite, headache, weight loss, and hypertension. IdofNib 100 Capsule is used in the treatment of the following:

• Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.

• Chronic fibrosing lung diseases with a progressive phenotype

• Systemic sclerosis

IdofNib 100 Capsule works by inhibiting receptor multiple tyrosine kinases (RTKs) enzymes that develop and progress lung fibrosis (scarring). Inhibiting these enzymes reduces the development of fibrous tissue in the lungs.

1. Anticoagulants such as Warfarin or Heparin (Severe)
   IdofNib can increase the risk of bleeding when taken with blood thinning medicines. Patients should be closely monitored for bleeding symptoms.

2. Antiplatelet Medicines such as Aspirin or Clopidogrel (Moderate)
   Using these medicines together may further increase the risk of bleeding. Medical supervision is recommended.

3. Strong CYP3A4 or P glycoprotein Inhibitors such as Ketoconazole or Erythromycin (Moderate)
   These medicines may increase IdofNib levels in the blood, raising the chances of side effects like diarrhea or liver problems.

4. CYP3A4 or P glycoprotein Inducers such as Rifampicin, Phenytoin, or Carbamazepine (Moderate)
   These drugs can reduce the effectiveness of IdofNib by lowering its concentration in the body.

5. Nonsteroidal Anti Inflammatory Drugs such as Ibuprofen or Diclofenac (Moderate)
   Combined use may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding, especially in patients with a history of stomach ulcers.

6. Corticosteroids (Moderate)
   Taking IdofNib with steroids may delay wound healing and increase the risk of stomach related side effects.

Important Note
Always inform your doctor about all medicines, supplements, or herbal products you are using before starting IdofNib 150 Capsule. Do not change or stop any medicine without medical advice.

• Before starting the treatment, it is recommended to perform a liver function test

• Store at the room temperature of 20°C to 25°C

• Protect from light and moisture

• Keep out of reach and sight of children and pets.

Take IdofNib 100 Capsule as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or open the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you based on your age, body weight, and disease condition. Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor advises you to stop.

IdofNib side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all drugs cause side effects, not everyone gets them.

Serious side effects of IdofNib 100 Capsule are:

• Bronchitis

• Myocardial infarction

• Bleeding problems

• Pneumonia

• Major bleeding

• Yellow eyes, dark urine, pain in the upper right side of the stomach

• Severe stomach cramps, bloating, fever, and chills

• Chest pressure or pain on the left side of the body

• Increased protein in the urine (proteinuria)

Common side effects of IdofNib 100 Capsule are:

• Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea

• Fever

• Skin ulcer

• Gastrointestinal perforation

• Altered liver function values

• Decreased appetite

• Headache

• Weight loss

• Hypertension

1. Inform your physician if you have any bleeding disorders, high blood pressure, heart conditions, or weak blood vessels.

2. Tell your doctor immediately if you experience any allergic reaction while taking IdofNib 100 Capsule.

3. Notify your physician if you have recently had surgery, as this medicine can affect wound healing.

4. Use effective contraception during treatment and continue it for at least three months after stopping the medicine. Always consult your physician regarding family planning.

5. Report any unusual symptoms such as dark or brown urine, easy bruising, increased bleeding, or yellowing of the skin or eyes to your doctor without delay.

6. Avoid smoking while taking IdofNib 100 Capsule, as smoking may reduce the effectiveness of the medication.
