Introduction
IdofNib 150 Capsule consists of the active ingredient Nintedanib. It belongs to the medication class known as tyrosine kinase inhibitors. It is used to treat idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, chronic fibrosing interstitial lung disease, and systemic sclerosis associated interstitial lung disease. How IdofNib 150 Capsule Works
IdofNib 150 Capsule works by inhibiting receptor multiple tyrosine kinases (RTKs) enzymes that develop and progress lung fibrosis (scarring). Inhibiting these enzymes reduces the development of fibrous tissue in the lungs.
Interaction of IdofNib 150 Capsule with other drugs:
Anticoagulants such as Warfarin or Heparin (Severe)
IdofNib can increase the risk of bleeding when taken with blood thinning medicines. Patients should be closely monitored for bleeding symptoms.Antiplatelet Medicines such as Aspirin or Clopidogrel (Moderate)
Using these medicines together may further increase the risk of bleeding. Medical supervision is recommended.Strong CYP3A4 or P glycoprotein Inhibitors such as Ketoconazole or Erythromycin (Moderate)
These medicines may increase IdofNib levels in the blood, raising the chances of side effects like diarrhea or liver problems.CYP3A4 or P glycoprotein Inducers such as Rifampicin, Phenytoin, or Carbamazepine (Moderate)
