When Kcheck sachet 15gms is ingested, it passes through the stomach and enters the small intestine, where it starts to exchange sodium ions for potassium ions. It effectively removes excess potassium from the body. The exchange process occurs primarily in the colon, where the concentration of potassium is highest. By removing excess potassium from the body, It helps to prevent the complications associated with hyperkalemia.

1. Phosphate Binders (Moderate)
   Kcheck may affect absorption of phosphate binders. Take them at least 2 hours apart to maintain effectiveness.

2. Antidiabetic Medicines (Moderate)
   Amino acid supplements may influence blood sugar control. Monitor glucose levels when used with insulin or oral hypoglycemics.

3. ACE Inhibitors / ARBs (Moderate)
   These drugs affect kidney function; concurrent use with Kcheck requires monitoring of renal parameters and electrolytes.

4. Potassium-Sparing Diuretics (Moderate)
   Kcheck may contain potassium precursors; using together can increase potassium levels. Monitor serum potassium regularly.

5. Multivitamin or Mineral Supplements (Moderate)
   Concurrent use may lead to excess intake of certain minerals or vitamins. Avoid over-supplementation unless advised by your doctor.

• Keep it out of reach from children.

It is an oral sachet. The dose and frequency of administration will be decided by your doctor based on your disease condition and other factors. Take medicine as directed by your physician. Take Kcheck Sachet 15gms with or without food. The chances of stomach upset are less if you take this sachet with food. Oral sachet is prescribed when the patient cannot swallow the tablet form of this medicine. The recommended dose is based on the individual’s body weight. It is important to complete the whole course, even if you start to feel better quickly.

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all drugs cause side effects, not everyone gets them.

• Signs of allergic reactions such as sneezing, itchy nose, wheezing, itchy and red skin

• Stomach irritation and bleeding

• Faecal impaction (hard lump of stool causing liquid stool, stomach pain)

• Signs of bowel obstruction and perforation such as cramping, severe stomach pain, chills, fever

• Your doctor may recommend regular tests to monitor electrolyte levels during treatment.

• Limit high-potassium foods like bananas, oranges, tomatoes, spinach, nuts, dark chocolate, and salted foods to reduce the risk of hyperkalemia.
