In certain cases, it is also used alone to treat infections caused by a resistant strain of bacteria called Acinetobacter baumannii.

How Kiviza Injection Works
Kiviza 1gm Injection works by blocking the action of an enzyme called beta-lactamase, which is produced by certain bacteria to resist antibiotics. By inhibiting this enzyme, Kiviza helps antibiotics work better and allows them to kill the bacteria more effectively. It also has direct antibacterial action against certain strains like Acinetobacter baumannii, Bacteroides fragilis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, and Neisseria meningitidis.
