Introduction:
Kryxana 200mg Tablet is an anticancer medication containing the active ingredient ribociclib. It is used in women to treat a type of breast cancer (hormone receptor-positive, HER2 negative breast cancer) that is locally advanced or has spread to other parts of the body. Cancer is a condition in which cells multiply in an uncontrolled and abnormal manner. This medication is given in combination with other medications.
Kryxana 200mg Tablet 2'S is not recommended for adolescents and children under 18 years of age. Before taking this medication, it is vital to inform your doctor if you have any signs of infections (fever, mouth ulcers, or sore throat), liver disorders, heart disorders, or if you are allergic to peanut or soya. Use effective birth control during the treatment and for at least 21 days after the last dose.
You should not drink grapefruit juice or eat grapefruits during the treatment with Kryxana 200mg Tablet. Make sure you inform your physician of all the medicines, including supplements and herbal medicines, you are taking before you start treatment with this medication.

How Kryxana 200mg Tablet works:
Kryxana 200 mg blocks the proteins called cyclin-dependent kinases 4 and 6, which are vital for the division and growth of cells. By blocking these proteins, this medication slows the growth and spread of cancer.

Inform your doctor about any medications you are taking or have taken before the treatment.

How to use Kryxana 200mg Tablet:
Take Kryxana 200mg Tablet in a dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablets whole with water. Do not crush or chew the tablets. You should not drink grapefruit juice or eat grapefruits during the treatment with this medication.
Safety advice:
Pregnancy:
Kryxana 200mg Tablet should not be taken during pregnancy as it can harm the baby. You need to tell your physician if you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant before taking this medicine.
Breastfeeding:
Do not breastfeed while taking Kryxana 200mg Tablet and for at least 21 days after the last dose. You need to tell your physician if you are breastfeeding before taking this medicine.
Liver:
You need to tell your physician if you have any liver disorders before taking Kryxana 200mg Tablet, as this medication should be used with caution in liver disorder patients.
Driving:
Kryxana 200mg Tablet may cause dizziness, tiredness, or spinning sensation. Avoid driving if you are unwell.
Others:
Talk to your physician if:
- You have heart disorders.
- You have signs of infections (sore throat, mouth ulcers, or fever).
- You are allergic to peanuts or soya.
Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medicines cause side effects, not everyone gets them.
Serious:
- Low blood counts (fever, chills, weakness, sore throat, or mouth ulcers)
- Liver problems (yellowing of skin, or whites of eyes, abdominal pain, dark urine, loss of appetite, tiredness)
- Heart problems (chest pain, irregular heartbeat, dizziness, shortness of breath, lips turning blue color)
Common:
- Diarrhea, constipation
- Nausea, vomiting
- Hair loss
- Headache
- Cough
- Runny nose
- Back pain
- Tiredness, pale skin
- Painful and frequent urination
- Indigestion, heartburn
- Rash, itching
- Swollen ankles, feet or hands
