Introduction

Myzotem 250mg Capsule contains temozolomide 250mg as its active ingredient and belongs to the class of antitumour agents, making it a critical myzotem medicine in the treatment of brain cancers. Myzotem 250mg capsule uses include treatment of glioblastoma multiforme in adults and malignant glioma, including glioblastoma multiforme and anaplastic astrocytoma, in patients older than three years. Myzotem capsule uses vary by tumour type: anaplastic astrocytoma is treated with Myzotem 250mg or radiotherapy after biopsy, while glioblastoma multiforme is treated with a combination of radiotherapy and Myzotem 250mg, followed by maintenance therapy. Myzotem 250mg uses extend to managing some of the most aggressive brain cancers with low survival rates, making adherence to prescribed dosage critical. Myzotem side effects include nausea, vomiting, dizziness, diarrhoea, constipation, hair loss, rashes, tiredness, frequent urination, vision and hearing problems, high blood sugar, muscle damage, joint pain, memory loss, coordination problems, infections, sleep disturbances, and weight loss. Inform your doctor if any myzotem 250mg side effects persist or worsen. Before starting treatment, inform your physician of any allergy to temozolomide 250mg, or existing conditions such as hepatitis B, anaemia, low platelet or blood cell counts, clotting problems, or liver and kidney issues. Your doctor will monitor WBC and platelet counts regularly during treatment.
