Introduction to Nevir ER 400mg Tablet

Nevir ER 400mg Tablet contains the active ingredient Nevirapine, which belongs to the class of anti-HIV medicines called Non-Nucleoside Reverse Transcriptase Inhibitors (NNRTIs). It is mainly used in combination with other antiretroviral drugs for the treatment of HIV-1 infection in adults and children of all ages.

This medicine works by blocking the action of the reverse transcriptase enzyme, an essential enzyme the HIV virus needs to multiply. Slowing down the replication process helps reduce the viral load in the blood and supports better immune function.

Do not take Nevir Er 400mg Tablet if you are allergic to Nevirapine or any other ingredients in this medicine. Inform your doctor if you have had severe skin reactions, liver problems, or hypersensitivity issues while on previous HIV medications. Patients with liver disease, hepatitis B or C infection, or high CD4 counts should take this medicine with caution.

The nevir er tablet composition includes Nevirapine, which block the reverse transcriptase enzyme, which HIV requires to convert its RNA into DNA within human cells. This action slows the multiplication of the virus and helps reduce its levels in the bloodstream.

Before starting Nevir ER 400mg Tablet, inform your doctor about all medicines you are currently taking, including prescription drugs, over-the-counter medications, vitamins, and herbal supplements like St. John's Wort, which can reduce the effectiveness of this medicine.
