Omalirel 150mg Injection is uses in the treatment of the following:

• Allergic asthma
• Chronic rhinosinusitis (inflammation of the nose and sinuses) with nasal polyps
• Chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU)

Inform your doctor about any prescribed medications, over-the-counter medicines, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products you take or have taken before the treatment. Certain medications may interact with Omalirel 150mg injection and can cause undesirable side effects.

Omalirel 150mg injection works by blocking and targeting a substance called immunoglobulin E (IgE) in the body; in this way, it reduces allergic reactions like Chronic rhinosinusitis (inflammation of the nose and sinuses) with nasal polyps and chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU).

• Keep Omalirel 150mg injection out of the sight and reach of children.
• Store in a refrigerator between 2°C to 8°C.
• Do not freeze.

Omalirel 150mg Injection will be administered by a nurse or doctor in a hospital setting. It should not be self-administered. The injection may take 5-10 seconds to complete due to the slightly viscous nature of the solution. Do not administer more than 150 mg (the contents of one vial) at a single injection site. If the prescribed dose exceeds 150 mg, the total amount should be divided between two or more injection sites.

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medicines cause side effects, not everyone gets them.

Common side effects of Omalirel 150mg Injection are:

• Fever (in children)
• Reactions at the injection site (pain, swelling, itching, and redness)
• Pain in stomach
• Headache (very common in children)
• Upper respiratory tract infection (inflammation of the pharynx and common cold)
• Feeling of pressure or pain in the cheeks and forehead (sinusitis, sinus headache)
• Joint pain (arthralgia)
• Feeling dizzy

Consult your doctor immediately if you have allergic reactions like wheezing, shortness of breath, cough, chest tightness, or trouble breathing, low blood pressure, dizziness, fainting, rapid or weak heartbeat, anxiety,flushing, itching, hives, or feeling warm, swelling of the throat or tongue, throat tightness, hoarse voice, or trouble swallowing. consult your doctor if you have a food allergy or seasonal allergies, sudden breathing problems (bronchospasm), parasitic infection, or cancer.
