Pulmosil 10mg uses are:

• Pulmonary arterial hypertension

This medication works by relaxing the blood vessels in the lungs, reducing the pressure in the pulmonary arteries, and improving blood flow. This helps to alleviate symptoms of PAH and improve exercise capacity.

Inform the doctor about your medicines, including prescription, over-the-counter, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products. Certain medications may interact with Pulmosil 10mg Injection, reducing effectiveness by causing undesirable side effects.

• Store at room temperature, between 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F).
• Keep away from moisture, heat, and light.
• It should not be frozen.
• Keep away from children and pets.

The injection is typically administered in a hospital or clinical setting under the supervision of a healthcare professional. The injection is given intravenously (IV) through a vein. Your healthcare provider will determine the dosage and infusion rate of injection based on your condition and response to the medication. The injection should be prepared and administered by trained healthcare personnel to ensure proper dosing and safety.

Pulmosil injection side effects like all medications, although not everyone will experience them. 

Serious:

• Sudden vision loss or vision changes
• Sudden hearing loss or changes in hearing
• Prolonged and painful erection (priapism)
• Severe allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, difficulty breathing)
• Chest pain or heart-related symptoms

Common:

• Headache
• Flushing (reddening and warming of the face and skin)
• Upset stomach or indigestion
• Nasal congestion
• Dizziness or lightheadedness
• Diarrhea
• Nausea
• Back pain
• Muscle pain

1. Inform your healthcare provider about your full medical history, including existing conditions, medications, and supplements, to prevent drug interactions or contraindications.

2. Follow the prescribed dosage exactly and avoid exceeding the recommended amount.

3. Do not use Pulmosil 10mg Injection with nitrates or nitric oxide donors, as this may cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure.

4. Seek immediate medical help if you experience sudden vision or hearing changes, prolonged painful erections, severe allergic reactions, or infusion-related issues like redness and pain.

5. This medication is not approved for use during pregnancy; breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctor, and regular follow-ups are important to monitor response and address concerns.
