Rablet L capsule works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in the relief of acid-related indigestion and ulcers. Rabeprazole works by inhibiting acid production in the stomach by working on a pump in the stomach called the proton pump, which is responsible for acid secretion. Levosulpiride acts by boosting stomach and intestine motility, preventing acid from refluxing back into the food pipe.

Inform your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, nutritional and vitamin supplements, and herbal products. Certain medications may interact with Rablet L capsule and reduce its effectiveness by causing undesirable side effects. Inform your physician if you are taking a medicine called atazanavir (uses to treat HIV).

• keep the capsule away from the reach of children and pets.

Always take this medicine exactly as per your doctor's advice. Do not crush, chew, or break the capsule. Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water. Take this medicine on an empty stomach at the same time every day. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of the treatment based on your disease condition and other factors.

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all drugs cause side effects, not everyone gets them.

Common

• Cough, sore throat
• Nausea, vomiting
• Back pain
• Abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation
• Sleeplessness
• Headache, dizziness
• Infection, flu like symptoms

Serious

• Severe allergic reactions
• Yellow skin, dark urine
• Skin blisters or peeling

Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time to take the next dose, wait until then. Inform your physician immediately if you face excessive drowsiness, yellowing of the skin, and dark urine because this may indicate liver problems. This medicine should be used with caution in patients who are suffering from diabetes or are exposed to the risk factors. Avoid or limit alcohol while taking this medicine.  Your doctor may take routine blood tests to check for the effectiveness of the therapy.
