Streptolev 15,00,000IU injection contains an active component such as Streptokinase. It is a medication that is used for the treatment of blood clot-related conditions.It is used to treat deep vein thrombosis, a condition where blood clots form in the deep veins, usually in the legs.This medication is used to treat pulmonary embolism, which occurs when a blood clot travels to the lungs and blocks blood flow.  In certain cases, It is used to treat arterial blood clots, such as those that can cause ischemic strokes.  Streptolev 15,00,000IU injection is used to maintain the patency of dialysis fistulas or grafts, which are artificial connections between an artery and a vein used in patients with kidney failure who require dialysis.

Individuals with a known hypersensitivity or allergic reaction to Streptolev 15,00,000IU injection or any components of the medication should not take Streptolev 15,00,000IU injection. Do not take this medication in the presence of active internal bleeding, such as gastrointestinal bleeding or recent surgery. Patients with a history of hemorrhagic stroke should not take this medication. Do not take this medication if you are having severe kidney dysfunction. Old-age patients should always consult a healthcare provider because of the higher risk of bleeding due to age-related changes in blood vessels and other medical conditions. Streptolev 15,00,000IU injection is generally not recommended for use in children because there is limited study on its safety and efficacy in pediatric populations.

Streptolev 15,00,000IU injection operates as a thrombolytic agent by interacting with plasminogen, a precursor protein in the blood. Through its binding, It triggers plasminogen's conversion into plasmin, an active enzyme that dismantles fibrin, the structural framework of blood clots, leading to their dissolution. Promoting this clot breakdown restores blood flow by eliminating blockages in blood vessels, which is essential for preventing tissue damage and related complications.

Inform the doctor about your medicines, including prescription, over-the-counter, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products. Certain medications may interact with Streptolev 15,00,000IU injection, reducing effectiveness by causing undesirable side effects.

Streptolev 15,00,000IU injection is administered through the intravenous (IV) route or intracoronory. It may also be delivered through an arterial catheter for more localized treatment. Healthcare professionals perform administration following prescribed dosages and guidelines.

Discontinue Streptolev 15,00,000IU injection and seek medical attention immediately if any allergic symptoms occur. Use with caution in individuals with a history of bleeding disorders, recent surgery, ulcers, or other conditions that might increase bleeding risk.
