Strone 100mg Injection uses are:

• Hormone replacement therapy: Strone 100mg Injection is used along with estrogen to reduce menopausal symptoms.

• Amenorrhea: A condition in which women don’t get their periods for months

• Reduce the risk of uterine cancer

The therapeutic effect of Strone 100mg Injection is to regulate and support various reproductive processes in the body, including the menstrual cycle, fertility treatments, hormone replacement therapy, and pregnancy maintenance. It helps prepare the uterus for potential pregnancy, maintains the uterine lining, prevents contractions that could lead to miscarriage, and contributes to overall hormonal balance. It can also be used in contraception to inhibit ovulation, thicken cervical mucus, and create an unfavorable environment for sperm, thus preventing pregnancy

Taking Strone 100mg Injection (progesterone) with any of the following medicines can change the effect of either of them and may increase the risk of side effects.

1. Carbamazepine, Phenytoin, or Phenobarbital (Oral Route) Moderate
   Use with caution.
   These medicines may increase the breakdown of progesterone in the body and reduce its effectiveness.

2. Rifampicin (Oral Route) Moderate
   Avoid using together unless advised by a doctor.
   Rifampicin may lower progesterone levels and decrease its therapeutic benefit.

3. Ketoconazole or Itraconazole (Oral Route) Moderate
   Use under medical supervision.
   These medicines may increase progesterone levels in the blood and raise the risk of side effects.

4. Other hormonal therapies such as Oestrogen preparations (Oral/Injection Route) Moderate
   Use only if prescribed.
   Concomitant use may alter hormone balance and increase the risk of irregular bleeding or other hormonal side effects.

5. Anticoagulants such as Warfarin (Oral Route) Mild
   Use with caution.
   Progesterone may influence the response to anticoagulants, and monitoring of clotting parameters may be required.

6. Antidiabetic medicines such as Insulin or Metformin (Oral/Injection Route) Mild
   Use carefully.
   Progesterone may affect blood sugar control and dose adjustment of antidiabetic medicines may be necessary.

• Stored at controlled room temperature, between 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F).

• Keep away from moisture, heat, and light.

• It should not be frozen.

• Keep away from children and pets.

Strone 100mg Injection side effects like all medications, although not everyone will experience them. 

Serious:

• Allergic reaction

• Swelling

• Painful urination

• Vaginal bleeding

• Depression

• Memory loss

• Breast lumps

• Dark patches on skin

• Vomiting

• Blood clots

Common:

• Nausea

• Bloating

• Vaginal discharge

• Mood swings

• Frequent urination

• Tiredness

• Inform your healthcare provider about any existing medical conditions, including liver or kidney problems, epilepsy, or heart diseases.

• Use this injection cautiously if you have a history of cardiovascular disease, irregular heart rhythm, or are taking medicines that affect heart rhythm.

• Allergic reactions may occur. Seek immediate medical help if you notice rash, itching, swelling, or difficulty breathing.

• Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before using this medicine.

• Avoid smoking during treatment, as it may increase the risk of blood clots.
