Telma MCT 50mg/12.5mg Tablet contains the active constituents of telmisartan +metoprolol +chlorthalidone, which belong to the antihypertensive drugs which help in controlling high blood pressure and excess of water and electrolyte from the body. Telma MCT 50mg/12.5mg Tablet helps in relaxing the blood vessels by making the heart easier to pump blood all over the body, and it decreases the risk of heart attack and stroke.

As this medicine is a diuretic, it causes frequent urination. It's better to take this medicine 4 hrs before going to bed and it is very important to take this medicine even if you feel well. The dosage of this medication will depend upon the condition and how individuals respond to the medication. Telma MCT 50mg/12.5mg Tablet tablet acts by lowering blood pressure and reducing heart attack and stroke, so don't stop this medication without the proper advice of a doctor. This medication is used with caution in patients with kidney disorders. No dose alteration is required. Consult the doctor before taking this medication.

Inform the doctor about kidney, diabetes, and liver-related problems and other medicines taken for blood pressure and heart conditions. If you are a breastfeeding or lactating mother or planning for pregnancy, consult the doctor before starting this medication. While using this medication, blood pressure should be monitored regularly, and a kidney function test should be performed to note if there are any abnormal changes.

This medication is taken as per the advice of the doctor. It can be taken on an empty stomach or along with food but it has to be taken at a fixed time daily. It’s very important to take this medicine even if you feel well. As it causes frequent urination, it's better to have this tablet 4 hrs before going to bed. The dosage of this medication will depend upon the condition and how individuals respond to the medication. Avoid breaking or chewing the tablet. Instead, swallow it whole with a glass of water.
