Introduction

Temo GBM 20mg Capsule contains the active ingredient temozolomide and belongs to the class of medicines known as antitumor agents. It is primarily prescribed for the treatment of brain cancers such as glioblastoma multiforme in adults and malignant gliomas, including glioblastoma multiforme or anaplastic astrocytoma, in patients over three years of age. These are aggressive brain tumors with generally poor survival outcomes. Temo GBM vs GBMT capsule comparisons are often made by patients to understand differences in formulation, dosage, and cost.

For Temo GBM dosage instructions, anaplastic astrocytoma is treated with Temo GBM 20mg Capsule or radiotherapy after biopsy, while glioblastoma multiforme is treated with a combination of radiotherapy and Temo GBM 20mg Capsule, followed by maintenance therapy.

Regarding how to take Temo GBM capsule, it should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily on an empty stomach, with a full glass of water, without opening or crushing the capsule.

Temo GBM safety warnings include informing your doctor if you are allergic to temozolomide or any of its components, or if you have a history of hepatitis B, anemia, low platelet count, reduced RBC or WBC levels, blood clotting disorders, or liver/kidney disease. Regular monitoring of white blood cell and platelet counts will be necessary during treatment.

Temo GBM pregnancy risk is significant—this medicine should not be taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Women should use effective contraception during treatment and for six months after, while men should avoid fathering a child during treatment and for at least three months afterward.

Common side effects of Temo GBM capsule include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, dizziness, hair loss, rash, tiredness, frequent urination, vision or hearing issues, high blood sugar, muscle or joint pain, memory loss, coordination problems, infections, sleep disturbances, and weight loss.
